Eat Out celebrates 10 years of hosting South Africa's most prestigious restaurant awards which recognises the top chefs in the country.

Cape Town has been blessed with a wide selection of great restaurants and quirky eateries and this year Eat Out - South Africa’s definitive restaurant guide - has put the spotlight on some of Cape Town’s best eateries.

The awards ceremony will pay tribute to culinary excellence in South Africa.

On the night, some of South Africa's award-winning chefs - including Luke Dale-Robertsof La Colombe, Michael Broughton of Terroir, and Laurent Deslandes of Bizerca will join hands with host chef Grant Cullingworth in whipping up a fabulous four-course meal for guests to enjoy, paired with award-winning wines.

At the awards the organisers will announce 2009’s Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year, the Top 10 restaurants, Service Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and the Woolworths TASTE Bursary Award, as well as reveal the 1000 best restaurants in South Africa in their 2010 issue on sale from 23 November 2009.
