Winter Glow Club Edition at Shimmy Beach Club

Get ready to glow this chilly season with this series of preeminent music and foodie nights at the Mother City’s favourite beach spot

Get ready to shimmy and shake this winter whilst listening to local and international DJs drop the beat to chase away the wet weather chills. Voted as Cape Town’s best club by Zomato, Shimmy is an on-going favourite with the city’s cool crowd, and it’s easy to see why. The club is constantly innovating and its latest offering is testament to this; the Winter Glow series features a selection of top-class DJs who will light up the restaurant and club on Fridays and Saturdays for the next few months (with the exception of July). The Club Edition (every Friday and Saturday) promises an electric ambiance with a line-up that’s sure to include a few of your favourite music makers.

The Winter Glow Club Editions are sponsored by Heineken and are sure to get the feet moving and the body grooving whether you’re a power house, new electro fan or a worshipper of all things house.

This week the Winter Glow Club Edition will happen on Friday, 26 and Saturday, 27 June 2015, with DJs Deztract and Byron B-Soulful on hand to make the magic happen.  Shimmy will close from Wednesday, 1 July until Thursday, 30 July, so best you book now otherwise you’ll have to wait until Friday, 31 July 2015, when the Winter Glow Editions get going again.

Remember that the Winter Glow Restaurant Edition will also be happening on a Friday, if you fancy some music with your supper, followed by a Club Edition mission for dessert. Tuck into Shimmy’s latest and greatest winter menu and then don your dancing shoes for a night to remember.
