October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and it serves as a reminder to get regular check-ups and think about those who are currently battling the disease. On Friday, 28 and Saturday, 29 October 2016, Woman2Woman, the charity musical extravaganza is taking place at the Grace Performing Arts Centre in Parow.
This showcase will be filled with inspiring stories, emotive musical numbers and stunning talent displays. The lovely ladies performing at the Woman2Woman concert are Anray Amansure, Felicity Kiran, Karin Kortje and Lauren-Lee Bock.
Woman2Woman is a celebration of local female talent, all the while benefiting a very deserving local charity - the CANSA Association. In 2011 (the last time stats were released to the public), it was estimated that more than 100,000 people were diagnosed with cancer every year, and the survival rate is only six out of ten. Battling cancer truly is one of the greatest fights, and currently we are not winning. If you’re unable to attend the concert, we encourage you to make a contribution to the CANSA Association, which you can do by visiting their website (CANSA.org.za). Ten percent of the proceeds from the Woman2Woman concert go directly to this very worthy cause.
The four powerhouse performers at the Woman2Woman concert are truly the best that Cape Town has to offer. Their musical prowess will blow you away, as will the spectacular show they intend to put on. Be sure to clear your diaries for either Friday, 28 or Saturday, 29 October 2016. You snooze, you lose, so get those tickets soon!
TICKETS TO THE 2016 WOMAN2WOMAN CONCERT AT THE GRACE PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE IN PAROW
Tickets are available online through Computicket.com, and range in price from R80p/p to R200p/p depending on where you elect to sit. Remember that ten percent of the proceeds go to CANSA, so spend a little more and ensure you get the best view possible! For more info, please contact the organisers directly at info@ovcorpmedia.com.
