Lovers of the golden nectar and local foodies will know that Cape Town is regarded as the craft beer capital of South Africa. Once again, the Mother City will prove this when the Woodstock Autumn Beer Festival spills into The Palms Décor & Lifestyle Centre on Sunday, 1 May 2016. This follows on from last year’s successful winter version of the festival.
The festival will have an amazing selection of craft beers from the 13 breweries on show, including the Woodstock Brewery, RIOT Beer, Drifter Brewing Company and Darling Brew.
Each of the breweries will have their tried-and-tested favourites on offer, but will also serve unique creations brewed specifically for the Woodstock Autumn Beer Festival. You’ll be able to sample the brews and vote for your favourite, with the People’s Choice Award going to the top beer of the day.
On top of all the thirst-quenching ales, lagers and IPAs, there will be delicious food on sale to keep you going for the afternoon. What’s more, talented local musicians will fill the air with their sweet melodies, while you sip on succulent brews and soak up the welcoming atmosphere.
