A Raucous Night At The Good Bar Where Bad Things Happen

Aces ‘n Spades, the space that cheekily claims itself to be a good bar where bad things happen, is hosting Nomadic Orchestra for Friday Night Live on 23 August. This is the 105th edition of the popular live music event.
INSIDE ACES ‘N SPADES
Aces has been rocking ‘n rolling since 2012. From the lampshades hanging upside down from the ceiling to the nautical ropes at the bar and the checkered floor, it's a home for all who revel in a little rock 'n roll anarchy.
In the words of American rock band Supersuckers' lead singer, Eddie Spaghetti: “Rock and roll keeps you in a constant state of juvenile delinquency.”
NOMADIC ORCHESTRA
Nomadic Orchestra is a five-piece instrumental dance band who love to get people moving. They are influenced by traditional music from South-East Europe and their musical training brings a jazz aesthetic. The Nomads recently recorded a few new tracks which they’ll be releasing this summer – they might treat you to a preview.

- 1pm: Doors open
- 4pm – 8pm: Happy hours, selected drinks half price (see below)
