Do you know the difference between a Hippogriff and Hagrid? Buckbeak and a boggart? A Doxy and a Demiguise? Well, best you brush up because this December you can kick off your festive season with a decidedly cool game because the Harry Potter quiz is coming to town. The well-loved boy wizard will take centre stage at this holiday-meets-fiction themed quiz. On Friday, 8 December 2017, Potter fans in Cape Town can break bread, drink wine and test whether they’re real Harry Potter fans at Knead Bakery at Palmyra Junction in Claremont.

Naturally, the name of the game is to come out of the quiz on top, with the first-place prize in hand! Teams will compete for first, second and third place, with awesome prizes for each. Dress up in your best Harry Potter meets the festive cheer outfit and head to Knead for a night of friendly (or competitive!) competition.

The quiz questions will be based on the films mostly, though the organisers, Quiz Nights SA, have revealed that some of the questions will be from the books (those are the questions for the die-hard fans!). Either way, you need to be well versed on the entire world of Harry Potter, so best you start prepping!
