The unique thing about a slow market is that the items you’re looking at were made by the person selling it to you. It’s beyond curio, it’s locally-made, one-of-a-kind goods. Browse the market for a traditional African necklace or a ceramic ornament for that empty space in your living room.
Inspired by the seasonal Nguni tradition of Inxwala, a ceremony that marks the King's tasting of the new harvest, the event invites market-lovers to experience a warm and creatively-charged afternoon.
