Zsa Zsa is the spot that Kim, Kylie and Lori Harvey would rent out for a birthday bash, and where Linda and Naomi would (let it all) hang out if they’d be in town. That's because Zsa Zsa really rolls out the red carpet for the city’s classy women.

Every Wednesday on Zsa Zsa Ladies Night they are treated to 3 glasses of prosecco for R100 or two Bombay Sapphire G&Ts, also for R100.

START WITH DRINKS UP IN THE COCKTAIL LOUNGE

The party starts at the cocktail lounge upstair, where everyone, including the barman, is bouncing to DJ Mamba and Kenny Selekas’ Afro house and urban sounds in the DJ booth. Then settle into any booth, where you can and turn up the speakers (or down). Then see where the night takes you (which could be anywhere in this swanky double-volume restaurant and bar with a secret club that opens on only one day of the week).

If the atmosphere at Zsa Zsa is effervescent, then the food – made from luxurious ingredients and humble recipes which draw inspiration from the French and Italian Mediterranean coastline – is indulgent.

DRESS UP, SHOW OUT AND SPLASH OUT

If you're celebrating, this is the decadent space to show out. For a bit of theatrics go for the Mexican Christmas. It’s made up of orange juice with a heavy-handed shot of Don Julio tequila, which gets lit at the table.

Or sip Prosecco and share Italian burrata, peri peri prawns prosciutto di parma. Then settle into the rich velvet booths lining the chic bare brick walls downstairs to feast on seafood platters (of crayfish, langoustines, mussels, fritto misto, prawns) or on pastas.

Go ahead and dance at our table, if the mood takes you. “The music is carefully curated. “It's intelligent lounge music; Bonobo and Fortete not Cafe del Mar,” says Shaun. The restaurant has individual volume control for each table, and there’s often live entertainment. Like the DJ playing with a cellist. In short: You get glamorous for Ladies Night Wednesdays at Zsa Zsa.
