Cape Town boasts a lot of comedic skill; some of the funniest comedians to ever come out of SA were born right here in the Mother City. If you don’t believe me, you’ll just have to head to Beefcakes on Monday, 31 July 2017 to find out.

Beefcakes, for those that don’t know, is a hotspot for all things drag, dramatic and delicious; a sensational and sensual experience for all patrons. The waiters are famous for being Adonises that are trimmed and half naked (don’t worry, it’s the top half that’s nude). What more could you possibly want than a piece of eye candy serving you a cocktail? Answer: nothing. Take it from a serial blusher, this place will bring even the shiest of people out of their shells, and what an experience it is to see it happen!

On Monday, 31 July 2017 Rob van Vuuren will entertain you as the master of ceremonies for the evening. He will introduce Shimmy Isaacs and the hilarious KG. Shimmy Isaacs is a sensationally funny person and she has the ability to make anyone giggle with her amusing anecdotes and limericks about how people cope in South Africa; this lady embodies locally grown comedy.  KG needs no intro; he’s big, he’s black, and he doesn’t care who knows it. He’s the son of a Sangoma and a nurse so expect some gags about growing up in a traditional household and how he dealt with having a dad with such an interesting profession. He likes to find humor in unseen places and you’ll find it nearly impossible to sit through the whole performance without laughing (yes, we do mean that as a challenge).

The menu at Beefcakes features some delectable burgers and a drinks menu that caters for every taste. You get to build your burger so you’re sure to enjoy your meal. First you choose your patty; chicken, beef, veggie or ostrich, then you choose a side; chips or salad. After that, you get to choose a topping; cheese, bacon, avo etc etc. Feast your eyes (and your stomach) on something yummy at Beefcakes Comedy Night!
