Enjoy a stunning breakfast or lunch just outside Cape Town
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Paarl you’ll find the exquisite Noble Hill Wine Estate which houses one of our favourite Mexican restaurants. Cosecha, Spanish for “harvest,” prides itself on Mexican and South American cooking, using farm-grown ingredients. This means patrons can expect to enjoy exotic dishes which are crafted from fresh ingredients.
Cosecha is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a break from the city, get some fresh air and enjoy a scrumptious meal. We love to spend our Sunday mornings basking in the crisp mountain air and of course we are obsessed with their breakfast (which are served all day!) Delight in the breakfast burrito which contains eggs, potatoes, and cheddar a flour tortilla for only R38 and you can add bacon and fresh avocado for an added R32.
For a lunchtime treat you can enjoy a hearty portion of the Chicken enchilada. It comes filled with shredded chicken, feta, red onion, and tomatillo salsa in divine homemade tortillas for R104. Alternatively, if you aren't in the mood for chicken, try the mouth watering Carne asada fajitas which is grilled rump steak with peppers, onions, frijoles negros and rice with flour tortillas for R132.
Another fabulous feature of the Noble Hills Wine Estate is the gorgeous lawns where you can picnic. Take your loved ones for a family day of bonding, or choose the picnic basket as a first date option - casual yet romantic - a great way to spend a warm morning or balmy afternoon!
Choose a comfortable location on the luscious green grass (there are blankets available on request). You can also bring along a bottle of bubbles to ensure a lovely mood. Picnic baskets cost R490 for two, R890 for four and they come with a bottle of Noble Hill Estate wine.. You can also have give the munchkins something to nibble on with their own picnic basket for R65.
We love the wine from the estate- be sure to try a delicious bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
Tip: spend a sunday in the sun with a picnic with friends and loved ones - perfect setting.
Note: Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Opening Times: Monday: 10am - 5pm; Tuesday: Closed; Wednesday - Sunday; 10am - 5pm
