Win 2 return tickets to Paris, fly on the legendary Air France
Last updated: 8 October 2024
The return of Air France’s direct flights between Paris and Cape Town isn’t just an annual occasion; it’s a celebration of two of the most vibrant cities in the world. Our cities are connected by gastronomy and wine, fashion, culture, and art… all of which we are celebrating in #FlavoursofFrance, in which you stand a chance to win two return tickets to Paris. And where you can get a 10% discount on flights. Read on.

The Air France seasonal flights between Cape Town and Paris are running from 8 October 2024 to 29 March 2025, which means you can get a chance to spend Christmas in Europe.
If you decide to travel between October and November, which are off-season in France, you can explore the sights with fewer crowds.
Paris has iconic sights, like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles Palace and Gardens and more. And there are so many bucket list French cities, like Nice (with its pebbly shores, bright blue waters and ancient ruins) and Bordeaux (the hub of France’s famed wine-growing region).
You’ll also have access to over 100 Air France destinations connecting from Paris, like Amsterdam, Lisbon, London, Athens, Vienna, Prague, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Cairo, Marrakesh, and more.

The non-stop flight from Cape Town to Paris takes 11 hours and 35 minutes. You’ll have a choice of three cabins on board: Business class, Premium and Economy class.
All three cabins have over 1 500 hours of movies and series on large high-definition screens, with Bluetooth connectivity so you can use your own earphones. There’s in-flight wifi too (on most long-haul routes) and even digital games for kids.
Once you land in Paris, you’ll have access to Air France’s seamless concierge service (economy customers too). This includes a porter service to take your baggage to a dedicated check-in counter, assistance through the airport's priority lanes, guidance to the boarding gate and more.

When you travel Air France, you travel in style, because some of the brightest talents have designed Air France’s aircraft and lounges.
Notable names include Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé (iconic French designers and architects) and more recently Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance (winner of Best Design award by Time Out).
The aircrafts exude French charm and excellence the moment you step on the plane; it’s one of the reasons why the airline has remained legendary.

This goes for the cuisine, too. France is one of the gastronomic hubs of the world, and the art of French cuisine is epitomised onboard Air France.
The menus, created by Michelin-star chefs, alternate depending on the flight. You can expect to eat meals from renowned names like Anne-Sophie Pic (she holds a whopping 10 Michelin stars), Michel Roth (winner of the Bocuse d'Or, the world’s most esteemed gastronomy award), and more.
The wine and Champagne list is from a diverse array of the best French vineyards and is curated by expert sommeliers.

Meal time aboard Air France is plastic-free with cardboard cups and cellulose and sugarcane trays. All flights departing from Paris serve 100% French meat, dairy, and egg products, as well as fish from sustainable farming.
The airline is replacing the old planes with new aircraft that consume 25% less fuel, and is using Sustainable Aviation Fuel, a non-fossil fuel that reduces CO₂ emissions by at least 75%.
By 2030, the airline aims to cut carbon emissions by 30%, so your trip will have a lighter carbon footprint.
