Be traffic aware during the Musical Event in the Mother City
Last Updated: 28 March 2017
The Mother City is buzzing with excitement for the arrival of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival taking place in the city centre from Wednesday, 29 March 2017 at 5pm and ending Sunday, 2 April 2017. The anticipation for the event is expected as 2017 will mark its 18th time hosted in the city.
Along with the festival comes road closures to maximize the overall enjoyment and facilitate the easy movement of jazz lovers in attendance. Here are a few tips on which roads to avoid at certain times if you are looking to avoid traffic as much as possible. The annual celebration concert (that's free, by the way) will be hosted in Greenmarket Square again this year. Have a look at our event page for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival for more information regarding musical acts and exciting developments.
