MONTH LONG MAYNARDVILLE FESTIVAL
The annual Maynardville Open-Air Festival is back in its Wynberg amphitheatre this summer from 22 January to 8 March 2025. Its season opener is Tour de Tchaikovsky and this year’s Shakespeare production is The Tempest, directed by Sylvaine Strike. STREET SOIRÉE IN STELLENBOSCH
Stellenbosch Street Soirées is making a comeback, with wine, street food, and live music in the oak-lined Drostdy Street. Tickets include a branded Stellenbosch wine glass, 10 wine tasting tokens and a tasting of premium wines. The street soirée is all about soaking in the summer evening vibes in Stellenbosch.

CONCERT AT ST GEORGE’S CATHEDRAL
St George’s Unplugged is hosting a series of lunch concerts at St George’s Cathedral, running every Tuesday and Thursday from 14 January to 27 March. This Thursday, the Zakwantu African Ensemble will showcase indigenous music from across Africa, inspired by nature and cultural heritage. Seating is first come, first serve, but you can reserve your spot and donate in advance via Quicket.

BOOK CLUB (+ COMEDY NIGHT)
On Saturday there’s a Book Club Comedy Night, where a lineup of comedians will perform sets of 15-20 minutes. It’s a chance for comics to get creative, and for you to enjoy an evening of fresh, unfiltered fun. HERITAGE TOUR DOWN LONG STREET

Gin-tasting works a little differently when you do it at Char'd Grill. You'll be able to smell different gins through an atomiser and do a tasting of your top four.
