Expect rain, windy conditions and perhaps even some snow
Latest update: 28 June, 2021
A winter storm moved into the province overnight on 27 June and will continue until the end of the week, spokesperson for the Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning Anton Bredell said in a press release on 28 June.
The cold front will affect the Western and Northern Cape provinces resulting in “windy, wet and cold to very cold conditions as well as very rough seas”, the SA Weather Service reported in a press release on 26 June.
