We’ve rounded up 16 ideas for your year-end party, for every kind of team, and many of them budget friendly. There’s the thrilling Amazing Race, now with premium experiences added at checkpoints. There’s a craft brewery tour, a ride on Monster Scooters, a beach braai and dining and retreats at some of the finest places.
Try stand-up paddling (SUP), which takes place at the Battery Park or Intaka Island locations. The two-hour SUP sessions run throughout the day starting at 9am, with the last session starting at 4.30pm. Included in your party is a gazebo, table, tablecloth, life jackets and instructors. SUP Cape Town can accommodate teams with sizes from 8 to 35 people.

Learn how to make Cape Malay cuisine at Faeeza’s Home Kitchen. Faeeza hosts fully-interactive cooking classes for up to 14 people, where you’ll be taught how to roll rotis, fry chilli bites, cook curry and wrap samosas. Have a real-life Amazing Race experience at the V&A Waterfront. Teams get different colour bibs as they navigate from checkpoint to checkpoint and compete in a series of mental and physical challenges. You can also add real physical challenges when you play.
