‘I'm Yours’ singer is headed to Mzansi for a three-date concert series in February 2015!
Grammy Award-winning blue-eyed crooner Jason Mraz is set to make his way to South Africa for the very first time to perform three concerts in major Mzansi cities to promote his YES! (2014) album.
DATES FOR THE 2015 JASON MRAZ CONCERTS SOUTH AFRICA
This latest offering has been dubbed his most unexpected and accomplished collection, and as it features the all-girl eclectic rock-folk band Raining Jane, audiences can expect to see this supporting act on the stage alongside the multi platinum-selling Mraz.
The 30-something muso is best known for his break-out single, ‘The Remedy (I Won't Worry)’, from his debut studio album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come (2002), which would go on to become his first top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Though, it was his record-breaking single, ‘I’m Yours’, that caught the attention of the world – the catchy song went on to garner platinum and multi-platinum certifications in more than 20 countries and spent 76 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Mraz is not just a skilled singer; he also plays the guitar, piano, mandola, banjo and the ukulele. Aside from his multi-instrumental repertoire and catchy, toe-tapping tunes, the San Diego-based troubadour is also a dedicated surfer, farmer/gardener, filmmaker, and photographer.
In short, this talented performer’s much-anticipated arrival on Mzansi’s sunny shores will have fervent fans clamouring for a front-row spot, and with five studio albums, Grammy Awards, chart-topping singles and multi-platinum album sales under his belt, it is bound to be a not-to-be-missed show series.
