Raise money for kids from communities at risk

Come cheer on your friends or choose a team to support and get into the vibe of a 5-a-side soccer tournament where the best team gets R8000. The Pride of Bonteheuwel Challenge is taking place on Saturday, 21 March 2020, at Fives Vangate Mall.

INSPIRED BY ONE OF THEIR OWN
This event was created by Thrive Social Development and inspired by Sherwin Abrahams from Ajax Cape Town, a young man from Bonteheuwel who through Thrive made his dreams come true. The goal with this tournament is to help kids with sports potential to discover opportunities and raise money to expand the programme.

ENTER A TEAM OR JUST COME WATCH
Anyone can enter a team, all you need is 10 players R1200 for registration and a deposit of R500. 

The tournament consists of 24 teams divided into four groups of six The groups will be played in a league format. Then, the top two teams from each group will play in knockout rounds for the quarter-final, semi-final and final.

Two games will be played at a time and each match will be played for 10 minutes straight. The runners up will receive R2000, and the winners will receive the grand prize of R8000 plus a trophy.
