Tessa’s Bakery is Bringing the Christmas Cheer with Unique Gingerbread Courses
Learn how to craft (and then eat!) the best gingerbread houses this Christmas
Is more there anything more quintessentially Christmas than a beautiful (and delectable) gingerbread house? No, we didn’t think so. And it get even better because Tessa’s Bakery – a place of magic and wonder – are inviting kids to a fun and festive workshop where they will learn how to make the best gingerbread house ever!
The best part of this event is that participants receive a fully constructed gingerbread house, so there’s no need to worry about those pesky walls falling over (or waste precious decorating time on construction). The only job you have is to decorate to your heart’s desire!
And there will be plenty of gorgeous and yummy goodies to decorate your gingerbread house with, including royal icing (it dries very hard making it great for sweet construction) and various sweets. And worry not, there’s plenty of time to craft a house so delicious and appealing that even Hansel and Gretel’s mouths will be watering.
The classes are organised into age groups, with different dates and start times for each. Have a look below and see which your children can attend, and then make sure to book soon:

Tessa’s Bakery is also offering a family class on Wednesday, 20 December. For only R450 in total, you can bring the family along and create something beautiful as a team. Trying to stop dad eating all the Jelly Tots and making sure that the kids don’t have a sugar rush is exactly the kind of bonding experience you need at Christmas, don’t you think?
