At the end of a gorgeous day in the heart of the African wilderness, a ranger will pick you up for a magnificent game drive through the malaria-free game reserve of Shamwari. From your open 4x4 vehicle you might see rhino's, bushbucks and all sorts of other animals waking up from their midday nap, in search of water and food.
Just before the sun sets, the ranger stops at a panoramic location for a sundowner and some light snacks. Watch the sun set over the African land and hear animals that you didn't see during the morning game drive wake up.
A powerful handheld light is switched on, which enables you to explore the veld in search of nocturnal animals and nightly creatures.
All in all, the evening game drive of Shamwari takes about 4 hours. Conclude you day at Shamwari with a braai next to a roaring fire, or a terrific meal prepared by Shamwari's dedicated chefs.
