Unfiltered has moved in at Eighteen on Kloof to bring us Italian pizza, burgers, tacos, beer on tap, an outside patio for summer and a cosy fireplace for winter
Bodacious Kloof Street gets a new notch on its belt; Italian restaurant Bardelli’s has been replaced by the new (also Italian) Unfiltered Eighteen on Kloof.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
The name Unfiltered stands as a description of something from the source. The name represents the concept of the restaurant; uncomplicated, uncompromising and real. Unfiltered focuses on unique and simplistic ways to deliver using quality ingredients in both beer and food.
Owned by James, Matteo and Mizio, the trio focus on food, beer and hospitality. James is a brewer and the owner of Rosebank Brewing Company and he has partnered with Matteo and Mizio, owners of the Woodlands Eatery. Matteo and Mizio, hailing from Italy, bring their passion and love for food and people.
FOOD AND DRINK AT UNFILTERED
You can fill up on tacos, gourmet pizza, lamb or vegan burgers and more, including vegetarian and vegan options complemented by a selection of beer available on tap.
The menu offers a wide variety such as mushroom arancini starter, cheese or meat platters and tasty healthy salads. Starters range in price from R50 to R90, mains from R85 to R130 and pizza from R60 to R140.
