Cape Town is market-mad. From Sunday markets selling food and week night markets packed with vintage collectables to outdoor beer gardens and indoor book fairs, there are enough of them to keep everyone entertained. The Vegan Goods Market, an experience that shows you being a vegan can be so delicious, is celebrating October being the Cape Town Vegan Challenge by opening every Saturday this month. The next market is on Saturday, 14 October 2017.
The market features food items that completely adhere to a vegan lifestyle (in other words, everything on sale is eco-friendly and contains no animal products at all). There has been a relatively large drive for a more holistic type of lifestyle as of late, and becoming a vegan has never been easier.
The stigma attached to vegans is that they eat leaves, and not much else, when in reality that simply isn’t the case. Vegans use produce from the earth, and they have just as much appreciation for fresh ingredients as meat-eaters do. If you’ve ever had a vegan meal, you can confirm that they certainly don’t compromise on flavour.
The Vegan Goods Market is a utopia for those that want to lead a healthier life (both for you and for Mother Earth). They will have pre-made food for you to enjoy at the market, fresh organic produce, vegan beauty products and cleaning stuff, as well as vegan juices (with no dairy in sight).
ENTRANCE TO THE 2017 VEGAN GOODS MARKET IN PLUMSTEAD
