One of Cape Town’s most iconic parties is back… with a bang!

Cape Town’s summer is the envy of people all over the world; we’ve got festivals, music events, food fiestas and a natural beauty that few places can rival. One of the bigger names on the Cape Town party scene, We Love Summer (WLS), are opening their season with a bang on Saturday, 11 November 2017. Their spring-time bash is being hosted at a venue they’ve used (and rocked) many times before, Blue Rock Cable Water Ski in Somerset West.

What is a We Love Summer party usually like? Well, have you seen Project X? Jokes aside, WLS parties are always the place to be. They always manage to secure top international and local acts from the world of house/dance/EDM music, much to the delight of their loyal audience, as a key part of their offering.

Pillowtalk, a three-man band, hails from San Fran in the US of A. Impressive, right? They bill themselves as a ‘groovy, soulful electronic band’, which is a description you have to hear to believe. Have a listen to what Samuel Doylestein, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello have been up to lately:

Obviously by now you know the music will be as on fleek as Kim K’s brow game, but what else are WLS offering? For starters, you’ll be able to enjoy two stages, a gin mixology bar (eeeeeeek!), a craft beer garden, a hookah lounge and an open-air cinema. Oh did we forget to mention the Caipirinha bar? They couldn’t physically fit more attractions into the venue, so prepare for a full day in this musical oasis.

Tickets for this edition of We Love Summer are selling fast. The Early Bird tickets are already sold out, but you can still get your hands on Phase Two tickets for R320/p. After they sell out, they go up to R350/p and then R380/p for those very late birdies.
