They’re coming…
You can run but you can’t hide, so join the undead in a gathering of apocalyptic proportions. The Zombie Walk is going down on Saturday 27 October 2018 at the Company Gardens at 4pm. The walk will end at Madison Avenue, a trendy nightclub on Prestwich Street in central Cape Town, where the Halloween After Party will commence. Fellow zombie lovers will be pulling out all the stops with their costumes for the Walk and the After Party, so come dressed in your scariest outfit and make sure your make-up is suitably gory and ghoulish – the more blood the better.
This is the ninth annual Zombie Walk, and you will be able to lumber, groan and limp your way around Cape Town for over an hour as you hunt for your next victim. The walk is also pet-friendly so bring your gizzard-sniffing werewolves-, erm, dogs, along with you. The pet-loving doesn’t stop there; the Zombie Walk makes continual efforts to raise funds for local animal charities, such as the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected pets.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE 2018 ZOMBIE WALK AND HALLOWEEN AFTER PARTY IN CAPE TOWN
The Zombie Walk is suitable for the walking dead of all ages, so bring the little ankle-biting tykes along for a day they will enjoy, but the Halloween After Party is only for those over the age of 18.
Expect the unexpected at the Halloween After Party at Madison Avenue with crazy lights, visuals, LED screen panels, moving heads, strobes, lasers and unparalleled sound. The diverse line-up of SA's hottest DJs across two banging dance floors will keep you doing the zombie shuffle ‘til the early morn.
SOME BASIC RULES FOR SAFETY'S SAKE

• Fake weapons are welcome, however, all blades MUST be fake and all mock firearms must have an ORANGE TIP. Please ensure you go by this rule unless you want your favourite toy gun confiscated.
• Consumption of alcohol during the walk is prohibited

Look no further than this sentence if you would like more ideas for things to do this Halloween in Cape Town.
If you’ve never been to Madison Avenue, we definitely recommend you give it a visit if you can’t make the Halloween After Party. It’s so cool it’s even on our list of the best places to party in the Mother City.
