A Festival Where Music Legends Are Born

Drink craft beer, hear fresh acoustic bands and win a Fender guitar at a festival that kick-started the career of a local music legend

Local, lekker and live music is what you can expect at this music-lovers jam in Claremont. Plus a full bar and good food at the Barleycorn Music Festival on Saturday 18 May 2019.

Check out the best young acoustic performers who are out to entertain the young and the old with their genre maelstrom at a festival created to promote local music. It has already launched the career of one SA music legend (read on to find out who).

From bands to singer/songwriters, an impressive line-up of young up-and-coming music acts will be performing throughout the day. The venue is all about original music, so expect to discover some new tunes, especially from artists you’ve never heard before.
