Expect an intimate experience as Gavin takes you through his musical journey in a two and a half hour musical treat that hears his debut album Silver Skies executed in his signature powerful and smoky singing voice. The venue, Brass Bell in Kalk Bay, is about as picturesque as venues get and features an up close and personal sea view with waves crashing at the immediate shore and a stunning sunset that gives way to a moonlit horizon.
The Voice SA Season One runner-up grabbed his national popularity by the horns and used it to spark his musical career. Gavin released his debut single Sparks in 2016, which performed phenomenally well on the charts, reaching the number one spot on iTunes the day after its release! October last year saw the release of his debut album Silver Skies which was produced by Denholm Harding at the legendary B-Sharp Studios. It has also performed notably well as it reached the Top Ten on iTunes. Gavin’s album features songs by writers from all over the world as well as one original track written by himself. Silver Skies also features two sublime covers, namely Say Something and The Climb. Impressively, the album was recorded in just four weeks in-between Gavin’s nationwide performances.
