The Marly Hotel in Cape Town's Camps Bay

A new opulent five-star hotel with fashionable flamboyance is set to open in December 2013

It’s five-star luxury accommodation that takes its name from Louis XIV of France’s 17th century château, and it comes with all the fashionably flamboyant trimmings: outdoor showers, a private pool terrace bar, a Japanese restaurant as well as sea views and beachfront location.

Welcome to The Marly.

Camps Bay’s been Cape Town’s most luxurious neighbourhood for a long time, and in December 2013, when the extravagant property throws open its doors, there will be a new exclusive hotel to add to the chic Atlantic Seaboard area’s collection of boutique guest houses, B&Bs and four-star overnight options.

A first insight into the new The Marly hotel in Camps Bay

While all of the finer details are yet to be confirmed, what we can reveal is that The Marly Hotel will comprise 11 spacious suites, each of which will boast either picturesque ocean vistas or majestic mountain views; opulent en-suite bathrooms and state-of-the-art amenities. What’s more, the hotel’s luxury suites will come kitted out with Jacuzzis, outdoor showers and large, welcoming balconies. And it goes without saying that 24-hour room service and bath-butler service will also be available.

In a nutshell, The Marly aims to be the perfect destination for holidaymakers who appreciate contemporary comfort, style and convenience.

Umi, a modern Japanese restaurant with seating capacity for 200 guests, will satisfy diners looking for a tasty, healthy in-house eating option, and an 80-seater bar that overlooks an outside terrace will no doubt be another alluring attraction.

We’ll keep you in the loop on The Marly. For now, think of it as the sparkling, newly unveiled Camps Bay gem in Cape Town, South Africa.
