Situated in quaint Braemar Road, next to The Strangers Club and inspired by Italian design with an air of “La Dolce Vita” (“the sweet life”), the Atlantic Seaboard’s The Braemar feels like lock-up-and-go luxury, in a range of sizes and prices (parking included).
Here’s why it could be the property investment opportunity you’re looking for – and how you can snap up one of only 51 units and save R150K when sales open on 15 March (register today though).
“Location, location, location” say the experts when it comes to buying an investment property – and for some, what The Braemar has to offer in terms of location might make it the perfect fit. All the coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and other conveniences of Green Point Main Road – close enough to walk to within minutes, but a street away, so just far enough not to be noisy.
Along with The Strangers Club next door, there’s Mano’s around the corner. Ideas Cartel co-working space at The Old Foundry across the road. Il Leone for dinner. The Prom, the V&A, Africa Padel, Green Point Stadium and Cape Quarter are all also within walking distance.

Along with the convenience of being situated in the heart of Green Point, The Braemar has a 24-hour concierge, biometric security access, plenty of parking and visitors’ parking, fibre-enabled units, a swimming pool for residents, a lobby area with some work space and a generator offering back-up power in common areas.
Plus, there are optional extras like electric vehicle charging stations, motorbike parking areas, back-up power solutions for individual units, air conditioning and store rooms.

Based on minimalist Italian design, The Braemar is an impressive five-storey piece of modern architecture. It’s being developed by Mason Developments, the same company behind sophisticated property developments like The Glengariff in Sea Point, The Belair and The Bradwell in Vredehoek and Olde Cork Farm, Brounger Walk and Bannerman Close Estate in Constantia.
There are only 51 apartments including nine duplex penthouses at The Braemar, ranging in price from R1,97m to R8,17m. You can view the full price list and features of each unit when you register online.

All units at The Braemar come with a dedicated parking bay – worth R250,000 for a single bay (1-bedroom units) and R500,000 for a double bay (2-bedrooms and duplexes) – included in the price of the property. All parking is secure and has direct access to the building.
The Braemar sales website has a useful interactive price list that allows you to see all the features and specs of each unit, short-list your favourites (and see how many others have short-listed the same units), see all costs (like levies) and see potential monthly rental income – plus, how much more or less the expected rental income would be than your monthly bond payment.
To view the price list and other features, register online.
