Refuse Collection To Operate As Per Norm

Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Last Updated: 20 December 2016

The City’s refuse collection will not be affected by public holidays during the festive season. Residents are instructed to take note of the amended operating times for our drop-off facilities.

Refuse will be collected on the scheduled refuse collection days, including the following public holidays.

  • Day of Reconciliation: 16 December 2016
  • Day of Goodwill: 26 December 2016
  • Public Holiday: 27 December 2016
  • Public Holiday: 2 January 2016

As always, residents are requested to ensure that their bins are placed outside for collection by 6am on the scheduled collection days. The collection teams might arrive earlier than usual as there is reduced traffic congestion on the roads on these days.
