The line-up

Dave Ferguson
Dave Ferguson is an urban legend in Cape Town, wearing real cowboy boots and carrying a suitcase full of harmonicas. He plays a hound-dog-belly-scratchin’ toe tap and an infectious box of beats. His solo show uses only harmonica, human beat-box and vocals, influenced by blues and Americana music.
Performance dates: 31st March, 28th April 2011, 26th May and 23rd June 2011.

Albert Frost
Albert Frost started playing guitar with The Blues Broers during the 90s. Frost is a master blues and rock guitarist, an in-demand session musician and has played alongside many famous South African musicians.
Performance dates: 17th March, 14th April, 12th May and 9th June 2011.

Nic Turner
Nic Turner is the founding member of Sons of Trout, who are one of the country’s top selling bands. Although Nic has maintained a reputation for being a talented singer-songwriter, he’s also making waves with his innovative acoustic guitar playing.
Performance dates: 10th March, 5th May, 2nd June and 30 June 2011.

Black Bear Swings
Somewhere between Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra you’ll find a Black Bear singing his heart out. Black Bear Swings sing the classics by Franky, Tony, Chet and many more.
Performance dates: 7th April, 21st April and 19th May 2011.
