The One&Only Hotel Cape Town is the new luxury six star, R900 million resort, currently under construction in the V&A Waterfront. This new luxury resort and hotel is set to open its doors to visitors at the beginning of October 2009, before the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
Set in the Mother City’s landmark environment the hotel promises the epitome of luxury, location and leisure, all of the ingredients we are accustomed to from Sol Kerzner.
One&Only will boast a hotel and exclusive, lavish 600m2 residential penthouses.
There will be man-built islands within the Waterfront Marina and will also feature pools, a six star spa, and meditation and relaxation areas.
Its 130 rooms will have a contemporary feel with lots of African culture and will have views of the marina and Table Mountain.
Forty of the One & Only resort's guest rooms are situated on a landscaped island in the marina.
Another island, linking the Towers to the cabanas, features a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool as well as a children's club and local restaurants.
The Nobu restaurant dining experience promises to be in a class of its own with the signature Japanese cuisine of internationally renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
