Run The Vines is a trail running event suitable for all ages and fitness levels, taking place at Doolhof Wine Estate on Saturday, 18 January 2020. Pull through for a fun family day with trails, wine, and food.
Run The Vines is a series of trail runs that started as a way to encourage family and friends, young and old, to have a healthy lifestyle by taking part in events that accommodate all fitness levels.
THE TRAILS AND THE PRIZES
Nestled in a valley between the Bainskloof Pass and the Groenberg mountains near Wellington, lies Doolhof Wine Estate. Doolhof is the Afrikaans word for “labyrinth” and was given that name because of the many hills and valleys at the estate. This terroir offers varied microclimates and slopes to produce different wines as well as kilometres of trails and magnificent scenery for running. There are wine-related prizes for first, second, and third place winners.
