Insights from the mind behind Cape Town's legendary wedding DJs
The Vue in De Waterkant
A trendy sky bar and lounge in the Mother City
The Vue is a stunning addition to the city centre for those looking to have an afterwork drink or meal while enjoying a magnificent view. Being on the fourteenth floor, your 360-degree view gives you picture-postcard looks at Table Mountain and Signal Hill. The venue is perfect for a romantic evening with a loved one as well as for a group of friends who are in-need of a cocktail after work (we are always that friend).
The exhilarating cocktails are fun, tasty and just beautiful to look at! The aim was to turn classic favourites like the margarita and spice it up - for example the Blueberry and Basil Margarita - DELISH! There are some incredible new flavours mixed in with the classics as well as innovatively fresh cocktails on the menu.
The food - well - you might enjoy the meals as much as the cocktails (we were shocked too). The exquisite tapas, is inspired by international flavours and just tastes incredible. Our favourite, (if you’re willing to fork out a bit of randela’s) is the Shoulder of Lamb served with truffle butter polenta, ratatouille and red wine jus - sounds divine doesn’t it?
We love the eclectic and comfortable energy, as well as the view - but that’s a given!
Tip: Order the Blueberry and Basil Margarita - YUM!
Note: Only street parking available
Opening Times: Monday - Sunday: 7am - 12am
