The cars and bakkies are available for short-term, long-term (anything over a month) as well as contract-based hires where the daily rate is inversely proportionate to the number of days a client rents for. Comprehensive insurance – standard and super damaged waiver (SDW) – is included as well as all vehicles are guaranteed for all eventualities and MLT’s infrastructure enables them to meet the needs of insurance, fleet and retail sectors.

In addition, MLT provides bespoke and professional shuttle facilities. Utilising a wide range of modern vehicles and operating 24/7, services include point-to-point shuttle and chauffeur transport as well as non- and executive airport, hotel and corporate meeting transfers. MLT’s expert staff can also meet, greet and assist passengers arriving or departing from any ACSA airport – this service can be tailored to suit individual needs. All vehicles are equipped with GPS and Wi-fi.

Although not physically located at the airport, MLT will deliver its vehicles to the airport as well as collect (no tourism levy or airport fee attached) at a client’s request. Furthermore, MLT too will deliver its vehicles anywhere at an extra delivery and labour fee. Customers can also hire GPS systems and car seats from MLT directly.

*Fuel, car and bakkie deposits (R4000 and R8000 respectively) and the standard contract fee of R65 are not included in the hire rate.

NOTE: Clients picking up vehicles from MLT’s Foreshore offices are welcome to leave their car – at their own risk – for the duration of their rental agreement on the MLT premises.

Tip: Ask MLT about their econo-line vehicles. These cars are quoted at a cheaper rate with the clear knowledge that they’re an older model with a slightly higher mileage.

Free km: MLT is owner-managed and are therefore very hands-on and open to negotiation. They also offer a standard free 100-kms per a day per rental (excess kms will be charged at an additional cost). There is also a free 200-km per a day option at a slightly higher rate. Although there are no travel limits, drivers are advised to let MLT know when they’ll be leaving the Western Cape region.
