Cape hotels amongst best of the world

Cape Grace and Table Bay on top 100 list

Also Cape Town hotels, have scored in the US travel magazine Travel + Leisure's 2005 Travel Awards, and the eighth best city in the world.

Apart from the overall score (Cape Town no.1 city in Africa and Middle East) two Cape Town hotels made it to the Top 100 Best in the World list; the Cape Grace Hotel in 24th position with 90 points out of a possible 100, and the Table Bay Hotel in 70th spot with 87.29. Both hotels are in the V&A Waterfront.

Travel + Leisure subscribers from around the world were invited to take part in the annual survey, which was conducted online from January to March this year.

For hotels, respondents were asked to rate rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.
